I have become a regular in the taste business. The service is always friendly and competent. The food is excellent and the selection of drinks is second to none. I always love coming back here and can recommend the Taste Traffic without reservation.

A really excellent restaurant, the food on the offered conditions are completely justified. With everyone. Visiting Giessen this restaurant is a must. Anyone who doesn't eat here has really missed something.

Conditionally recommended. Staff friendly. Service good. Ambience OK. Taste ok. Upon reservation, we were given a table with a bar stool. We received the extra order as a standard order. Therefore only 2 stars.

Amazing place,

The dishes are extremely well decorated, so that the taste is also expected to be of a high standard. Unfortunately, the kitchen doesn't do it justice, it's rather mediocre. In terms of price levels, there are better alternatives in Giessen and the surrounding area. Still give it three stars because the service was very attentive and friendly.

After we had heard positive things about this restaurant from some acquaintances, we became curious and, despite the relatively many negative little things about the Aura (previous restaurant of the taste business leaseholder), we thought we'd give the taste business a chance. But unfortunately we had to find out: Much appearance and little. The service, unlike many other reviews, was very professional and patient, and fairly quick. But if a main course (calamaris) only has 2 florets of broccoli, a tablespoon (coated) of spinach and two teaspoons of mashed potatoes and the whole thing costs 18.90, then it borders on usury and is outrageous. After we complained, the very understanding service staff gave me a bowl with additional puree. That portion was then more than what was on three plates. Do you always have to complain first so that you are served properly and get your price-performance ratio? To top it off, the boss read the service staff (who I take from my criticism and who still saves the 1-star rating) that Calamaris is expensive and therefore there is not so much on the plates and that we would like to see the shopping list. Professionalism really looks different! The decor is a matter of taste and if you like it overloaded and want to enjoy a lot of hodgepodge on the walls with dim lighting, you are in good hands here. As I said, I would like to exclude the waitresses from my criticism, as they were very friendly towards us and also served us quickly.

Much Ado About Nothing ... Actually, don't really value large portions in a dining restaurant. But if you then get 8 mottled baby calamari served with a mini portion of rice for 20 euros, the price-performance ratio is simply not right !!!! We will go back to Knossos in the future .. 😩😩

Very nice atmosphere with nicely presented food and high prices. However, despite a reservation, we were forced to get a seat with uncomfortable high chairs. Thus, the atmosphere, the ambience and the food could not be enjoyed to the fullest.

The two of us dined here on 8/15/20 and were absolutely delighted with this excellent meal. The hospitality was perfect! I would also give 10 stars if that were possible, this restaurant is an absolute must if you are in Giessen, should we be in transit again we will definitely come back. The portions are more than sufficient, the price / performance ratio is absolutely okay.

Super tasty even if expensive! You might think that some of the waitresses were only hired because of the appearance, but it is not necessary because the food looks and tastes great

Very good fine cuisine at the right price, but quite reasonable. The waitresses were very friendly, even if the wine recommendation was a bit too pushy and inexperienced, but very, very friendly. Nice atmosphere, in the evening you can also sit outside very well.

Food was surprisingly expensive, but good. The servers were very nice and professional and very accommodating to English speakers.

Very, very good food! Focus on Greek. Very nice, courteous wait staff. The ambience is exceptionally beautiful! A top recommendation! In summer msn sits outside nicely. I recommend booking for peak times.

We were here for a team event. Food was really well prepared and everages are good. Service was a bit off in the day. Our table was not ready although we had a reservation and towards the enf of the night we waited a bit for our drinks and coffee.

What a place! Tasty food. Funky design. Big plus for a down-to-earth owner who is not shy to have a laugh with you and will always go out of his way to make your dining experience supreme. Make sure to reserve a table!

Excellent food, while seeming like just another street cafe. Pricing is well keeping up, though. Still - worth it. Also, service and staff are waaay beyond what you'd expect after a walk through a German shopping mile. Minus one star only for the pricing - if it's just a quick cup of coffee you're after, go for one of the nearby alternatives. If you feel like you deserve a treat, check this place out.

The staffs are very friendly and helpful. The food was really delicious and tasty, but the price reflects the quality of the food and their luxury restaurant setup. Overall, this is definitely a good restaurant to try out.

Chic place with friendly service and amazing food I had the Souvlaki which was enormous and very tasty meat.
